Team Anveshak is a premier student competition team of IIT Madras that builds Mars rover prototypes and annually competes in the University Rover Challenge (URC) organised by the Mars Society.

The Centre for Innovation (CFI) is a student run technological workshop of IIT Madras which fosters student teams, technical clubs and the technological activities at the institute.
